You forgot the medical corps... who is there to get you ATT C when you need it the most?Originally posted by Shotgun:Come on lar guys, all the formations have an equally critical role to play.
Without armor, we lack mobile tracked firepower to overrun the enemy.
Without Commandos, we lack the special ops ppl blowing up key bridges and booby trapping important roads to cut the enemy off.
Without guards, we got no one to slow down an enemy counter attack, and conduct fluid defensive engagements, or quick offensive probes.
Without infantry, we don't have the follow on forces to dig in at an objective, or a light heliportable foot infantry.
Without Signals, dun even need to talk.
Without Combat engineers, happy digging defensive positions with ur chankul, breast strokin urself + stores across water, finding rocks and soil with bare hands to fill AT ditches, and probing for mines with ur bayonet.
Without Logisticians/mechanics, good luck u probably wont have food and ammo and getting ur vehicles to work.
Without Artillery, the enemy will be ready for u, pointing his rifle down range instead of cowering from the arty rounds.
And we have seriously digressed from the topic.
haha that may not be easy,if his mindset is infantry is way too tough for him no matter what other people say.And i do agree that infantry outfield is really tough, but people usually get used to it once they go thru a few exercise and is used to all the walkingOriginally posted by Icemoon:I hope I can successfully motivate bismarck.![]()
You very good hor.....at the end of the day you are the one who start this stupid comparison ...... pls.....and alway never assume anything if you don t know ok and pls pls pls dont alway assume that armour will reach after you becoz you can t prove it. You are neither a COA so you know nothing....... got it all you know is how to perform you drill properly and ORD....And don t get yourself into troubleOriginally posted by Icemoon:We are all army right?
So we actually stand under the same 3 flags in our unit.![]()
Hmmm, my experience with svc medics have not been too positive....Originally posted by DriftingGuy:You forgot the medical corps... who is there to get you ATT C when you need it the most?![]()
Of course i was referring to combat medics, please dont talk abt the svc medics... besides back when i passed out, i remembered theres no more svc medics, all forced to convert to combatOriginally posted by Shotgun:Hmmm, my experience with svc medics have not been too positive....
But of course, lets not forget the SAF medical corps. Who else is gonna dig shrapnel out of ur ass if not for the MO's and their loyal medic legion?
erm .. but the MO and his medics are still under the unit. Not under HQ Medical Corps.Originally posted by Shotgun:Hmmm, my experience with svc medics have not been too positive....

that's bullshit .. were you under a unit before?Originally posted by DriftingGuy:You forgot the medical corps... who is there to get you ATT C when you need it the most?![]()
It is proven. Even our S3 told us last time what we are exactly doing.Originally posted by MGGUN:You very good hor.....at the end of the day you are the one who start this stupid comparison ...... pls.....and alway never assume anything if you don t know ok and pls pls pls dont alway assume that armour will reach after you becoz you can t prove it.
Actually I think the AIT phase is tougher. Go outfield dig for the sake of digging .. then do all the stupid drills again and again .. is super boring.Originally posted by Aveme:haha that may not be easy,if his mindset is infantry is way too tough for him no matter what other people say.And i do agree that infantry outfield is really tough, but people usually get used to it once they go thru a few exercise and is used to all the walking
x2.Originally posted by MGGUN:Say until medic....I personally thinks that combat medic very xiong esp when bashing all those stuff......carrying a stretcher and a MOP, that is really very heavy.......
During ATEC when enmey contact us, beside hearing PC shout FCO and SC Shouting fire movement....And other voice we could heard is alot of people is calling for medic........medic here medic there......really very xiong.....Me salute to to your COMBAT MEDIC........
We actually have a pretty good signal set you know.Originally posted by Icemoon:x2.
In real war .. the riflemen can hide whole day under a hail of enemy MG bullets and refuse to come out of cover. But if someone is shot and cries medic medic .. the medic has to leap and bound across an area covered by a platoon.
But carry stretcher and MOP xiong is still better than carry useless dummies like the armburst and vietname war era signal sets with extra batteries.
The runners are still carrying vietnam era signal sets. WTF.Originally posted by lwflee:We actually have a pretty good signal set you know.
Its true what. The MO does give out ATT C what, whether he or she is under quota or not is another storyOriginally posted by Icemoon:that's bullshit .. were you under a unit before?
The MO is "controlled" by your CO. CO says cut down the chao keng number he will be more strict when giving out ATT C.
Even better. battle proven!Originally posted by Icemoon:The runners are still carrying vietnam era signal sets. WTF.
I agree with what you say becoz anything will happen in war. But the ain role of your foot infantry you should know better than me. If let say your can road march to odjective to fight with enemy, then what is the point to have A.I in armour, can just have tanks to form up Armour ....Originally posted by Icemoon:It is proven. There is a reason why we carry FBO for mission and you don't. Logically there is no reason for infantry to carry FBO if tonners are waiting outside "to go to next objective to clean up the shit".
What u mean?Originally posted by ditzy:How often do you see tanks doing leaps and bounds?![]()
