Well,I myself went out a few times during MC,go downstairs buy stuff such as food and magazines to keep myself entertained mah,if not stay at home damm sianzzz...

The charge report reads something like this
"...failure to comply with the order of 2LT XXX to stay at home while on MC" -
they know i'm at home because my i/c is chatting with me on msn.
other than that, our understanding of MC is equivalant to day off / leave. so no one checks on you. -
my fren lor.. he went out makan with me den halfway kana phone call, den his mom dunnoe go say wad he resting at home den he say he outside having dinner.. so kana. see him rush back camp so funny. orbi.

Come to think of it ... I've never taken a single day of MC during my 2.5 years ....
I didn't even clear all my leave ! ... cos my boss (who was very kind to me) needed extra help with a CPX ... so went down to help lor ....

I had 2 months mc for breaking my arm during an exercise.
Then i went out to visit my bn when they had exercise at east coast as it was near my house. -
Depends on unit to unit,and whether you've been a troublemaker in camp.Then your CSM might seize the opportunity to nail you for the trouble you've been getting away with in camp.
Normally, we do not check on them.It's their life, if they wish to spend their money buying MC, personally, it's their pasah.It's not nice to spend unit time and money tracing people who are officially out of camp.The difference is when MC has expired, then anything deserves to be thrown at the fella if he has no mitigating reasons. -

i'm surprised SAF bothers to spend the time, effort and manpower to spy on u while u are on MC.
