u can find all this in HQ MC directives. They dictate all medical directives. -

In my unit, I know of people who went into the black market for 'selling' duties as well. They had to be careful not to get caught, though. A bustling black market in Duty-buying soon arose. Illustrated to me first hand what a free market is. During, NYE, CNY, prices were steep! One of my friends was even talking about offering a package - $X for y amt of duties over a period of time.
Excellent system I must say! Those who are there might be more motivated to be there because they are being paid extra, and those who really do not feel like being there have a way out!

One guy sold his duty to another guy for $250 and was somehow found out. They both got 14 days' RP.

What is the point of allocating duties? Ans: To ensure that the relevent posts are always manned. The market facilitates that. Can't see any problem then.
Some people need the extra money, some have extra money. There is almost perfect competition as anyone can enter the market, and there are many buyers and sellers such that no one can monopolize.
In my unit, yes it was unofficial and we do not do it openly. However, it is clearly no secret, and HQ did not try and investigate the issue. The perfect balance. -
play by the rules but dont be a bastard... duty and work must fullfill.. if can rest or free days, then take... no one will hate you for that.
