Have you spotted them any "xiao mi feng" in outfield.... especially in lim chu kang....Originally posted by ditzy:If you heard of it, it won't be called ninja right?![]()
unit range is definately more fun. u zero your own weapon, you clear your IA yourself, u don't have to march to the toilet etc. u are pretty much on your own, everything won't be spooned fed by your sergeants like in BMT.Originally posted by Shotgun:Unit range and BMT range is 2 different matters. In fact, i felt my unit range was more fun.
Can chut all the funny shooting techniques and patterns. What sitting position but cross one leg over firing arm etc etc. All the monkey patterns all come out.
what zeroing device you using? the canadian bull target board is the standard zeroing method wat. or they have new technology?Originally posted by Gordonator:one time we shoot at mandai range, that was the most screwed up range i have.
armskote man came late, draw arms late. then driver take MC outside, searched high and low for another driver. almost didn't make it in time.
then when zeroing, find that the my prominent tip cannot adjust, spoke with the range CSM, he bo chup bo chup says use the tool to adjust loh, then realised no one draw the tool from the armoury.
worst, mandai is a 300m range, we have to walk 200m to the fornt to shoot. somemore we don't have the zeroing device to measure where our shots landed. we use the cardboard with grids instead.
to make things worst, many of the lanes are malfunctioning, meaning targets won't fall even if u hit them.
then last day after range, everyone was every anxious to send arms quicky so that we can book out faster. then bloody armskote man come 1 hour late.![]()

yes we shoot at the canadian bull target board, but instead of having the device which measure where your shots landed, we must manually go to the canadian bull and see where the shot land.Originally posted by 12qwaszx:what zeroing device you using? the canadian bull target board is the standard zeroing method wat. or they have new technology?
oh yes i have gone through that before too. so zeroing quite shack. must walk back and forth so many times.Originally posted by Gordonator:yes we shoot at the canadian bull target board, but instead of having the device which measure where your shots landed, we must manually go to the canadian bull and see where the shot land.

canadian bull is use to check whether you are shooting correctly and also to zero the M16 iron sights to the firerOriginally posted by Cpt.ZR:i believe what he means by the zeroing by twisting the foresight tip one is more advanced zeroing la.... but the simple one is the canadian bull one...
in most cases, a device with a green screen will trace your shots and shows u the coordinates.Originally posted by 12qwaszx:canadian bull is use to check whether you are shooting correctly and also to zero the M16 iron sights to the firer
so now SAF have some device to help you zero your m16 ah? no need walk up / down to paste stickers liao?
cool!Originally posted by Gordonator:in most cases, a device with a green screen will trace your shots and shows u the coordinates.
