  hey old peeps, recruit here asking a few qn...
  
  first thing, wat's individual field craft about? how to prepare for it?
  
  secondly, i heard from my pc that during field camp cant bathe and going to get really dirty. because my skin is very sensitive, i forsee that i will suffer from acne breakouts... anyone has any tips to prevent that from happening?
  
  thirdly, wat does situational tests test on? heard need to noe knots and lashings? roughly which knots/lashings shld i noe?

  firstly, IFC touched on things like camouflage and coverage, field discipline... etc. basically what to do and observe when outfield.
  
  secondly, as for sensitive skin, either you go get a memo from your doctor or after fieldcamp see your skin condition how first then go report sick to excuse uniform and take some medications.
  
  thirdly, situational test tests on your problem-solving skills and your reactions when given different tasks to complete within a timeframe. it's to see how you delegate jobs to others when you are playing the role of an IC, and also how you do the jobs assigned to you when you are playing the role of a rifleman.
  
  Some rope skills that you should know are reef knot, clove hitch, square lashing, sheer lashing and bowline.

  Reminds me of the time I was a recruit (way before you were born)...
  
  The corporals those days were so evil. Brought us to a field of razor sharp lalang and told us to pluck grass for carmouflage...the whole platoon ended up with bleeding hands and the instructors had a good laugh at us...
