read the article carefully, BG Lim is going to HQ Training and Doc Command... no guesses what he's gonna be doing there. I'm just surprised he is going there cos of his age.
As for 6 DIV, i'm honestly happy for them. With someone like BG Ravi, they will be in for a hell of a change. I served under BG (then COL) Ravi in early 2000 (i was an NSF)... it was not an easy ride working for him, he is demanding as hell, relentless in his expectations of you and the entire unit... but trust me, i have never gained more experience and exposure from working with him.
1.5yrs on after he was posted out, i chanced upon him again in SAFTI during a seminar, and when he spoke to me, he spoke to me like an equal and not like a COL to an NSF.
BTW, you will be amazed at how fit BG Ravi is...... -

may i know BG Ravi Singh's beret's colour? hopefully this time rd 6th div got a combat side BG.. somemore 6th div bridage commander is a SOF! anyway i was from 4SIR formerly.. heard tt my unit changed CO.. change to a commando LTC.. looks like my batch is fated to have commando officers.. commando RSM in 4SIR during my time.. my OC also commando.. WHY so many commandos like to come to infantry units to clear their tour....?!

Otherwise what? Stay there due to lack of suitable appointments for their ROA?
