4SIR is under the wing of 2SIB of 6DIV. It's an infantry regiment, can say quite active.

(sent me for map planning software course wth, medic need to do map planning de meh

Sigh... I just hope that they have found a replacement to be PC runner for my reservist this year. I rather stayed in a section and chiong with my buddies. -

Well he's gonna have a hell of a time for his ns stint. Training is undoubtedly tough, might become a rifleman for the battalion. Be prepared for countless exercises in the field. Cookhouse food there is one of the worst i've ever encountered. New CO n RSM, heard to be damn ON! On a brighter note, ur friend will feel homely there once camaraderie is established as the LCK camp area is secluded. Enjoy yr training at the cemeteries too.
Dun be surprised when you have to prone next or behind a tombstone during your training. and doing conc in the open fields of the cemetery and night walks there.
The training ground is so near the camp that you cant even take a short nap on the tonner on the way there.
The good thing is that you know you can reach back camp fast after outfield exercises.
Oh and say hello to the red-eyed statue.
There are stories that the statue walks to the parade square in the middle of the night. -

Most of u should have heard this b4, alot of DB personnel come from 4SIR.
