Well i think knocking down applies to trg schs like bmt sispec or ocs lah...
I think when go unit liao... punishment usually in terms of signing extras ... going for orders... or DB.... knocking down sounds so childish .. -

It depends on where u are at what time..
SAF concentrates on appointment rather than rank..
but of cos due to the respect given to the rank, it is seldom u see such things happening.

Punishments that can be meted out that is tied to Rank is in the SAF Act... stating that....
An NCO (A) may detain another NCO (B) provided A has reasonable grounds B has acted or did something criminal.
Or if A believes B is not in the capacity to carry out its job.
And Officer maybe detain B too in the situation. But an NCO may not detain an Officer in any circumstance.
However, MP is exempt from this rule and may detain anyone. -

I think RSM also need to think twice before knocking an OC. Imagine the coy guys will stand and laugh at him. -

I think the most important thing for an NSF is his ord date rather than rank.Rank in saf is easy to get durning my time,your education level is high enough,cpl n 3sg are easy to obtain liao,

btw, it was RSAF Day Parade rehearsal at Tengah AB.
RSM was angry that the cpt's contingent was late and still took a long time to form up. -
