Question about mobilization

  Hi, I could be having mobilization this saturday and I am the area IC.
  
  For those who had mob and are area ICs, if the soldier is not contactable, did you really go to the person's house to paste those stickers and put the notice under his door or give it to his parents ?
  
  Also, what is Detatchment Nominall Roll SAF 82A ? I don't seem to have it. All I have are the mob contact list, saf 76A mobilization stickers, pink and green forms and the mob code stickers.
  
  And for mob, we have to bring 7pack, sbo and id tag right?

  wah army need to do so many things one. mine unit no need get one guy to call thenkeep callimg untill they come back

  if u dun have the nominal roll, should be able to get from ur OC. Usually ur OC would be the guy to see about these stuff.
  
  Yes, u do have to go and paste those stupid stickers. Get someone with a car to drive u there. im not sure if petrol can claim though. Fortunately, its only for 1 area... hehe.

  You definitely have to go door-to-door with the stickers and the forms.
  
  And if you don't already have the contact list. Call your brigade admin asap!
  
  What I used to do was call around a few days before to confirm numbers. Nowadays with mobile phones quite easy lah. And ususally the group quite small. Also good to confirm as sometimes the guy is out of town.
  
  Thankfully most units also have their own back-up systems to ensure the men show up (no section/platoon/company wants to be the one that keeps everyone else back).
  
  But in a worse case scenario, you have to go to the guy's door step. Have had only to do it once through my various call-ups.

  U Area IC or Detachment IC?
  
  I thot only the Detachment IC go ard paste stickers. Area IC oversee the various Detachment IC of that area.
  
  LAst time I detachment IC.. page here page there, wait for reply. These days.. ppl so lucky.. got HP now.
