hi nsmen, forgive me for my noobiness, just to check what do i need to bring for my first ict which is in this june? do i need to bring fbo or sbo? coz if i rem correctly during my nsf days those reservists didn't bring anything at all... they come then go back... however this one is a low key one which lasts for a week.. i don't know if stay in or out but my camp unit is stay out one from my nsf days... and i'm driver. do i need to bring any docs besides 11b? how bout that log bk when ord they gave?

and is there ffi? wht if one has some new med prob?
and what if i need to be excused from some ns activities temporarily? -

If you have any medical problem, you should highlight to your OC or whoever is in charge of your NS platoon. -

For MIW the information is put up by your Unit. I know as I help my Training Officer, who is the admin for MIW, to put in the notices.
I thought they will send you the SAF100? Maybe you can get your unit contact number from there also... -

Any reservist training more than 7 days is considered as high key. If you ken a high key ICT, you MUST bring your FBO & SBO. That means your training programme will definitely include field excersies such as fire movement, attack and defence (for infantry).
If you kena anything short than 7 days, most likely it will be quite senang one. Again depending on your training programme. It is always prudent to bring you FBO & SBO. You can also look at your SAF100 - it will mentioned something like this:- "you are to report to camp name in full battle order...."
By the way, I just finnished my last high key ICT. That means they won't call me for ICT anymore. And so, ROD LOH !!!! -

kena sai, after so long i still haven recieve my reservist unit posting yet. ORD almost coming 1 year liao...

same here mah i 1 yr + then receive my first ict call up
must see your birthday also, if u like me ord just after your last birthday, then most prob will be waiting 1 yr for the next window to open -
erm.. I haven't even recieve my unit posting!! lol!

4 yrs after my ORD, then received my eSAF100 for ICT.
I guess it depends. If during full time NS, you are in active operational combat unit like SIR,SAR or SCE, the reservist cycle will start as soon as the unit ORD. Those furthering their studies, may or may not be deferred.
Those from non active operational unit, eg, BMT/Sispec instructors, may have to wait a few yrs, for enough NSmen to form a reservist unit. -
