Haunted Army Camp

During my BMT in Tekong, I was a recruit in Charlie Company in 2000. While, I was waiting for my posting after the end of my BMT phrase, there is a night stay alone in the recruit mass. I was alone playing the PS station and I can feel goosebumps poking out and I have those weird funny feeling which i cant describe.
Soon, after playing for some time, I fell aslp on crouch. Thanks god, i was able to fall slp till the next morning. I remembered when i woke up, i still have thoose goosebumps as the whole room is quite dark and rather creepy because i was alone there.
When i told my chief clerk that i stayed overnight in the recruit mass, he gave me a stunned and rather surprising look. As he recalled that the place is huanted as there are 2 occasions when the sergents had encounted some scary moments.
1st occasion: The sergents were playing PS station in the mass late in the night where all recruits were supposed to be on the bed. There are some knocks on the door and when they opened the door, they saw noone at corridoor. It is quite unlikely that someone can run and hide from the corridoor. Something is mstery
2nd occasion: Bcos Tekong is a old malay village before it becomes an recruit military camp. The incident happen when the sergents were resting in mass room and the radio suddenly switched to a Malay radio station, which is not explained. -

But why people believe that it power. This is because according to legend. Both human & ghost world are govern by certain rules.
As a soldier or police, you are officially consider a person that administrate those rules. And since old days which the magistrate have a jade on their magistrate hat, which represent a symbol of authority. Thus in modern day, the crest is also a symbol of their authority you been delicated to ensure the rules is been enforce , thus that is why people believe of its power. -

Infantry, support, armour, arty, engrs, etc berets are no longer being blessed and the crest is now made of plastic not metal. I believe 1 year back got this discussion, you may like to check out with Lazerlordz and Gordonator.

Well, I have one; its actually told to us by one of our instructors. I'm not sure if its true or whether its just a make-up story, but the fact that my sgt was dead serious and along with a perosnal experiencs of mine I guess perhaps it is true..
The place is once again SMM, accoms block. That sgt of mine said he was doing WOS duty one night, then he had to go to one of the strong rooms in one the levels to take something. Well, as u all know strong rooms are storerooms, dark and not well-ventilated right? And just try locking urself in the room and off all the lights and confirm u wun be able to see a thing right? Okie, the thing is, tt sgt of mine unlock the door, then what he saw was the most unusual thing; he claim to have seen someone in that particular room and the person was squatting down and rumagging through some things in the strong room.
Another bizzare thing is, the strong room is used to store a lot of Sharp Boxes. (sharp Boxes are yellow Bio-Hazzard boxes to dipose all used Sharps, or IV Needles after being used - which means there's gona be a whole lor ob blood in it) So, my sgt actually saw tt person, rumagging through the boxes with his bare hands. Who the hell is that person???
No wonder nowdays, half-filled sharpboxes are kept in the WOS room, locked in the cupboards.

rubbish la.
the crest is blessed by the practitioners of the 7 major faiths in singapore. there's some ceremony, don't remember what it is. saw some photos of it when i was sorting out stuff for a presentation.
was held at either padang or national stadium. quite a big event. -

ARE our beret crests REALLY blessed? Or is it just an urban legend? Fact or Fiction? -

What about those colonial houses in Seletar Camp? Haunted or not. Did the Jap killed people there during 2nd world war?

I've never encountered any hauntings in Seletar camp, even from those old colonial houses. However, I'm not one to go out of my way to look for them. =D

Ever wonder why army camp or when army guys goes into the jungle, so easy to see things?
Anyone knows any stories about people practicing occults and get into trouble? Or any Bomoh or Chinese black magic practitioners stories? HEard that in Kampongs last time many people keep spirits. When this bomoh is using the spirit to do fortune telling, someone throw sweets on the floor, the fortune teller will need to pause for a while because the spirits went after the sweets. -

Imagine 7 priests, monks, etc of every religion stand in a line, machiam product line operator, then the berets roll out in batches in the converyor belt while they site their prayers. -

But you are right, the officers are blessed by the different religion. How useful this bessing is ? A few senior staff sergent from the seletar camp told me this before, they found that that blessing works, for in the whole camp , it seem a lot of the sighting is by ordinary ranks right up to senior staff sergents. It seem unheard of a officer in the camp seen anything strange. -

as for the crest, well, it is removable. so like one of the forumnites mentioned earlier, what we did was to remove the blessed crest and replace it with the crest on our berets. the blessed crest then goes to the beret. and for me, my beret (the infantry one though) still bears the blessed crest.
