Temporary PES: Upgrade PES in NSman/ Reservist Time?

I am currently PERM PES C9L2 downgraded from PES B due to a very bad fall suffered on my left knee during training and it has been classified as a service injuiry pending compensation. The following is my discharged summary form the hospital.
Principal diagnosis: OSTEOCHONDRAL # L MEDIAL PATELLAR FACET
Principal Procedures: OPEN FIXATION OF OSTEOCHONDRAL FRAGMENT ON 6.8.04 BY (DOCTORS NAME. TOTAL 3 OF THEM)

Perm liao so will not upgrade liao. Unless for some special reason, u want to upgrade?

If perm won t up graded confirm a not.... My status is now Perm C9L2 becoz of slip dics and my next app is in june.... And the doctor say i will 100% recovered by then do another check to confirm.....Then the doctor say if I recovered I maybe upgraded.....
So will up grad a not? anyone can help? -
it seems quite contradictory - on the one hand, they gave you a PERM status, on the other hand, the doctor gave that kind of remarks. you should have asked the doctor on the spot about this - if they even have this intention to upgrade you if you ever get well, why give you a PERM status? there are other classifications that are more suitable then.Originally posted by MGGUN:If perm won t up graded confirm a not.... My current vocation is Signal storeman in 1 of the arty units, wonder will i still be the same formation with the same vocation or will be revocated

army got pay compesation for injury ?

SAF does pay compensation if u sustain an injury during training which is serious. The amount is paid based on the percentage of permanent disability you suffered due to the injury.
They would also pay all the bills for the treatments u need for the injury. -
Anybody care to share their experience with regards to claiming for the service injury? I waited for more than 6 months and recently found out that the army probably lost my injury claim form! Hi I have a friend in the same batt also trying to claim for his service injury....But now 2 years liao..... I also wanted to claim but my S1 branch keep on like da tai ji like tat...... push here push there..... then they say if I wanted to claim I need to write a statement and obtain a statement from my P.C , O.C then I need to find the Safety on the day that I injuried myself.... So many rubbish.........In the end I gave up..... Fark them up side down must do some many thing to claimed for the money,.... Now I have ORD I have to paid for all the medical appointment and medicine..............
All to blame is blame on my Farking M.O...... Telling him that I suspect I have slip dics he don t farking care and refuse to send me to specialist.... until one day my whole leg numb and cant walk..........then send me to specialist... Then specialist say why I don't come early....... When my M.O found out I have slip dics he farking scare......

I have exactly the same problem as well ! The S1 branch didn't want to give me the service injury form and kept giving me excuses etc and I suspect it's that one of two bad apples in the lot that is causing all these. When I finally did get the service injury form and dillgently filled up everything to find out 3-4 months later they lost the form! It's not so much that I want to claim for compensation but I want my injury to be recorded down as a service injury. Also, I was a private patient which is not eligible for medical compensation. -
if your medical condition is only temporary SAF will do a review and act accordingly. upgrading is of course a possibility.
