Citizenship grant to PRs

  i m wondering.. How long do they allow those PRs to consider the citizenship offer before it gets revoked?

  as long as you don't go DB, has no criminal records all your life. Application of citizenship is given automatically few months before u ORD. your S1 will give you the application letter and you'll need to go for the interview at ICA.
  
  do note that this is a 1 time offer, if u choose to reject it, in future if u choose to take up citizenship again, u'll have to go through all the criteria set by the gahmen.

  2-3 months before ORD you will be offered the citizenship along with a time slot to go for ICA interview, you will be given a week or 2 to decide if you want to take the citizenship.
  
  if you want, sign a letter saying you want.
  
  If you don't want, sign a letter acknowledging that you don't want and you konw you are only offered ONCE.
  
  But seriously, if you choose to work in Singapore and stay after your NS, it is not that much harder to get citizenship.
  
  The only difference is that in this offer you will have an additional letter from SAF stating your good conduct and stuff. And thuse your chances of gettign citizenship is higher.

  Very similar to the American system of offering citizenship to Green Card bearing serving soldiers.
  
  When they finish their combat service, they will have an easier time getting the grant of citizenship.

  Regardless what you serve NS as, you are still awarded Citizenship.

  ya i find it so easy to get citizenship too just for serving NS as compared to the others who apply for citizenship without serving NS or didn't up the offer the 1st time.

  I know female PRs who got their citizenship within 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  I know male PRs who lived singapore their entire lives, stay in singapore 20+ years. Still a PR!!!.
  
  Best, i know some people who need not renounce their previous citizenship simply because of their education.
