During the 1970's - the formation badges were buttoned to the uniforms, and can be removed for field use. Maybe these days they would use Velcro.
The Israelis (and South Africans?? ) use shoulder tags which just hangs off the epaulettes.

I think the SINGAPORE tab is an excellent idea. Hope they give one big one for NCC also... At least blur recruits wont anyhow go and greet some c0ck ncc kid. Hehehe

If the formation logo is 2cm from the top, where got space for the rank sia?
If they say sew on collar then what about the arms logo which is supposedly sewn on left collar? Dun tell me rank on just one collar?

Arms/Vocational logo on the left collar.
Anyway, let's hope someone posts a picture of the entire uniform set-up soon.Because from where I see it, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

This is all just "in the works" right? Recent pics in pioneer mag still has the "old" uniforms leh. Anyway, got new "kuti kuti" on uniform may look damn "saad" but very leh ceh for the reservists leh.

Anyway, I recently saw a pic from an old Pioneer magazine. This soldier had the blue UN logo sewn on his uniform. No, not the slip one type, this was sewn on. And it was above the rank. Well I guess it depends on how huge they make the formation logo lah.
Rank is 4 fingers from the top. If the logo isn't too big then should fit. -

There are also things like where to put the rank, singapore thingy put where, singapore flag pic or words or whatever... lolz!
how many badge on left and right... crappy things la...
but we didn't make the ideas la... we only pick from the mutiple choice...
So... it's like we have to pick something... put where, put what... can say don't put...

NSmen I guess they'll be more relaxed i.e. not so strict with the deadline but EVENTUALLY they'll have to as well. -
