Hmm, the color is alright once you see it. But the fonts dont do justice.
The SINGAPORE wording should be more squared off..hmm. -
i noticed the font and size of the sg tag is slightly different from the name tag. the font for the sg tag seems to be smaller. and the "O" in TEO and SINGAGORE is different.

The singapore tag was issued, as seen from my previous pics, the name tag was sewed at beach road, hence the slight difference

NSF, was in tekong during my BMT / SISPEC (last BSLC batch in tekong), currently at HQ 3 DIV, G2 branch

it will look very weird on officers and warrant officers. they have singapura on their epaulettes and singapore above their pocket. doesn't the higher ups ever thought of this when they approve this silly idea.

I guess eventually they'd remove the Singapura. After all, Police doesn't have it too. i won't be surprised after a few months, due to massive negative feebacks from the soldiers, the higher ups decided to change everything back to normal, namely back to camou nametag and without silly singapore tag.

How about for NSmen? Those who already ORD from Reservist, do we have to buy the tags ourself and sew onto our uniform?

I would rather they change all ranks to epaulettes. At least looks more uniformed across the SAF and Home Team.
Also bears the meaning of "bearing the responsibilities on the shoulders".
Of course the bad thing is, LCP and CPL will look like WOs, 3SG will look like CPT and 2SG and above with lots of arrows...
