In the end should I need to go BMT recourse?

I am a NSF who will be ORDing on 8th August this year.

I am OOCed during my BMT 2 years ago because of my back problems and all the way I was on excused status until mid-July last year when I was temp downgraded to PES C2L2. Before that I was being called for recourse FFI twice but failed my FFI because I am still being medical boarded.

However when my temp status ends last month the MO puts me into medical board again and 2 weeks ago I got my medical board result and I was being temp downgraded to PES C2L2 again until 16 August 2006 i.e After my ORD and I was told to see the MO again 3 months before my temp status ends i.e May this year regarding this issue.

So does it means that I will not be going for BMT recourse? And anyone knows what is it all about the seeing the MO things 3 months before ORD?

as long as MO fail your upcoming FFi for recourse.....you no need to go...

Is it true that your recourse FFI will fail if you are in temp PES C status?

that i not very sure.....i fail for my ffi recourse before i got my temp pes status...almost the same situation as yours.....

Quite likely.

Convince your MO to downgrade you permamently before ORD.

to fail your FFI, just tell your MO how bad ur back still is, or else you will go tekong sit PES C recourse for 7 weeks and sleep a lot.

Once u are Pes C, u will be deemed unfit for BMT recourse, unless its modified. Basically u wont kena enhanced or normal bmt recourse lar.

After u ORD, i heard if u haven complete bmt, ur first ICT will be a BMT as reservist.

I thought there is no such thing as reservist BMT?

Also is it possible that they will eat up our ORD leaves in order to go BMT recourse?

There is BCTC for reservists, its a refresher training course center for Infantry vocationalists.

ORD leave will not be eaten up.I know of many people who ORD without having completed BMT.And they are PES C.

Aiyoh, BCTC is nothing like BMT lah.

BMT has SOC, IPPT, ATP etc. BCTC is over in 2 days. It doesn't come close to what BMT is.

reservist bmt is like 5 days only loh.

i knew a guy whose pes B and ORDed without recourse either. he just got lucky, the MO boarded him, but lost the paperwork, so he wasn't downgraded. when he was called for BMT, he still had 2 weeks of excuse left, he went down and they OOCed him on the spot. and then he ORDed few months later.
