Crazy Things you done during NSF....

did many... 3 most memorable....
1) Peeing off a cliff in Ex Starlight.
2) Bathing without partitions at the taps near FIBUA village in Tekong.
3) In ex starlight, when Navex was cut, did not report back. My detail and few other go jalan jalan see mountainous scenery until we estimate fatigue work back at camp is done... then we return. in the end still got fatigue work. ahah. -
sometimes at nite we tied ppl on the bed den take video and photo o.0
Sometimes pillow fight like siao -
stalking a group of recce troopers sleeping around their bikes and going through their packs ...
sneaking into sispec at night to kapo food (from the rubbish bin, discarded night snacks, all pristine ... the SAF wastes so much food ... tsk tsk tsk ...) during exercise .... -
my NS life is dull and boring so no crazy things from me.

hantam trainers
went to town with my section with rifles, in starlight coz' hollandz
went temburong -
hitched a ride in a lorry during ex longstride.... covered 10 clicks in no time

went to collect durians at 4am during duty and my friend got hit by a big falling durian at his shoulder... -

Some people I know once called a cab and checked into a hotel whilst on a full troop exercise. And went out for drinks and whores. And apparently had no comms throughout the entire night because they were 'walking through a valley'. Allegedly.
It wasn't me.

My friend's crazy story..
he put a 5.56 on a vice, and try to use a dot punch and hammer the percussion cap and see what happens.
Of the 3 guys that are around, no one dared to hammer hard enough. -
use finger to catch black scorpions by the tail in the field for foto shoot becuz bery bored.
but worse is while told to go into safti live fire area to white tape any unexploded 81mm blind rounds found for demolition, one guy removed a blind found sticking up from the soil and carried it in his hand afew paces and found another blind and he removed that as well. Another guy saw him do that also started to copy him, next thing the whole platoon is removing blinds instead of marking them out with white tape and we all taking turns to carry something like 9-11 81mm blinds from person to person passing from hand to hand, I carried it for like 30 secs then realised wtf was I doing !!! then handed it to the next person. if someone had accidently dropped 1 single blind round ...

2) played ping pong in the recruits' mess after at 1 or 2 am when i was a recruit.
3) going thru the HCC, 1 particular obstacle where u jump off a 7m high platform to grab a swingin bar n finally droppin urself dwn into the sea.
4) goin thru the combat physical fitness test. -
oh ya, tie a thunderflash to a crab n set it up!

During my ATEC,we were fighting Tiger force,our supposed local specifically trained enemy unit.On one encounter while doing fire and movement to clear them,one of them came charging at my section specifically me within the section.That is still ok,but it is like he is psycho or something,not even sure if he know any TSR,but upon charging to a very close distance,he is still firing away directly into my face with his rifle tip about 15-20 cm away after he reached his positon beside me,knowing that damage can still be done even with a blank attachment attacted on the m16,i can only try to shield my face on the ground with my helmet facing his rifle tip while he kept on firing off and empty the whole magazine.After he is done,i felt like getting up and butt stoking him or something,but one of those ATEC empire behind declared me causalty and asked that person to follow him some where else for a talk or something....crazy fellow,training only,like really want to kill people like that. -

once during my cadet days, my sect got chased by wild boars after which my sect took revenge by chasing it back later in our bionix, haha!!..... -
Remember another crazy incident, me and friend are assigned to be enemy and a contact point for "arty drill" for the Bn.
So to simulate Arty we are given 200+ Thunderflashes.
before exercise start, my friend found a metal pipe and we thought we can make an improvised Mortar and use the T-Flash as the charge.
So we put in nonsense into the pipe and see what happens...
we put things we found in the area....
1) Mess-mug (flew about 20 m high and deformed)
2) pebbles (aimed at a training shed, it rained pebbles for a while)
3) golf ball (flew and lost)
4) SAF powder (entire area was white after)
5) Pommegrenate (exploded)
6) tree stem (flying arrow)
7) water bag (exploded inside the pipe)
silica gel (aimed at my friend, he say no pain at all, like rain drops)
haha.. had lots of fun for 4-5 hours instead of proning and what for our trainees to come.
hmm... for all the above, we taken safety precautions liao according to Training Safety Regs & Directives
