Guards Got Go INDIA for Training???

Dear anyone, i was told by sum1 that he will be training at INDIA. I would like to know if SAF do conduct training or any course in INDIA and if they do, does it include National Service Full-Time (NSF)?

Assuming that they are both firing the same type of round,the maximum firing range of FH2000 is more that than of the Primus right? And the FH88 being retired to be used by the NSmen? Thanks

I think thats a good idea if its not yet implemented. Save on purchasing newer equiptment and training cost. NSmen use FH88 and FH2000 (Since their time was before all the new toys came out), NSF use Primus and Pegasus.Originally posted by tankee1981:And the FH88 being retired to be used by the NSmen? So basically, you use what you trained with. Unless of course the equiptment becomes obsolete and outdated for practical use.
This idea would be much more practical in a few years time since SAF is standardizing the ammunition to 155mm.

Ya man, Go to the Thar desert and fire. Put the gun at 45 degrees and see how long the shots will go.,
Actually the training for armourd personnel is carried our in ahmednagar. Only the testing of tanks and armoured exercise is carried out in the Thar desert.

i've heard of guards training at Brunei, Taiwan, thailand n Australia but when he mentioned India, i bcame suspicious....can any guard commanders here pls confirm India is now included in guards trg package?[/quote]
