Hey guys.... want to know a bit about the history of School 2 Ninja Coy? Well , back in my days, it was known simply as 2nd Echo Coy. There being a 1st Echo in School 1. I was a platoon sgt in 2nd Echo. At the time when I was ORD-ing in 1985, there was the beginnings of the BMT school revamp and the decision to avoid confusion over the 2 echo companies. So the CO then decided that the 2nd school should have the benefit of the more "kilat" sounding names, e.g. Ninja. This happened around May 1985.
Needless to say, many of the instructors put in suggestions to the CO that there should be a camp competition to rename the companies in school 2. Accompanying the suggestion was a list of names, some of which were funny and some were downright rude !

i would say ninja's OC is a very good OC.Strict when he needs to and when hes nice, hes really good to the recruits.

I just POP from Orion4, heng ar! Ninja just opposite us...
I rem the 1st day they enlist, we lights out liao, they still kena tekan like hell, all the shouting by the sgts, but i sorta really respect them la...
seeing them send arms like we are kids like that...field pack inspection all the contents swee swee one...btw orion4 is the slackest among orion, all the other sgts like buay song us, but who cares, our commanders also don like them...
ninja damn suay la, we field camp only last day rain, heng swee swee, our last day was ninja 1st day, den lik 3/7 days rain...they always kena wet weather

I just got into Ninja and i'm on my 1st book out. heh siong leh and it's still holiday mood. I dunno how life will be like once it's all done hah.
