What we need is one of those helmets that pilots wear. The type where the weapon is linked to the helmet and where you look is where the gun is pointing. Just mount the gun on the shoulder, one on each side.
Then we will need an exoskeleton since the fuckin' cannons on the shoulders will be very heavy. Lastly, some kind of microchip should be implanted in every friendly soldier so the helmet can do IFF as well.
Ooooh - Since the exeskeleton is likely to be very cumbersome, maybe a jetpack should be installed. So soldiers leap from point to point stead of walking.
And while we're in fantasy land, I would like some sort of Satnav intergrated into the jetpack. So i Just say (voice recognition is installed as well) "Computer, Go to Bedok Hawker centre, out" and the jetpack will go "Acknowledge Go to Bedok hawker Centre, out", and fly me there.
Will need stealth capability as well, since it looks like we will be spending alot of time in the air. -

i ever tried out a PDA GPS system during my NSF and it was such a chore to take care of the thing. i so scared if walking in the vegetation and suddenly slip and fell then break the damn thing...then can sign on already..haiz -
all this 3G shit is rubbish la....so much gadetry....look like one idiot liddat...furthermore all these are not battle proven....I think nano-technology is the way to go apart from these silly things...thats proper 3G...having so much gagdetry on yr body only makes life more complicated...even james bond's gaderty is so much more compact.... and easier to use....
