entering ns for jc dropouts

  anyone knows the procedures for entering ns? i just left jc thinking of going in first. any experiences, tips, knowledge to share guys? thanks.

  u will be no diff from other ppl..
  
  u think being a jc student gives u special benefits..
  
  maybe higher chance of going ocs but thats about it..

  u completed your As? if not, i think u'll be considered as an O level enlistee.
  just go to CMPB if u have not received ur enlistment letter.

  One advice: The milo 3-1 mix u get... u wont have hot water outfield. So slit the packet carefully along the side... den pour a bit of water in, and mix it up with a biscuit. When its pasty... u got instant YAN YAN! Enjoy!

  did i state that i expect any special benefits? i'm just asking for some advice and info from the more experienced fellas here..please think before you assume and yes i am in for a rough time since i dropped out.

  call cmpb apply for early enlistment.
  
  they'll put you in the next earliest available batch. be prepared to be given 3 days notice before enlistment.

  if u do not have A lvl or dip then u will go into mono intake liao then no chance to becum sgt or officer if u 1 to, and the life in mono intake is not that gd some sgt juz anyhow tekang

  just some information for you. If you are younger than the normal enlistment age of 18, you may enlist early under the VEES Voluntary Early Enlistment Scheme. I know cos I myself volunteered under that scheme! I went in when just a 17 year old kid!

  AS long you entered and studied abit of JC, you will be eligible for Pulau Tekong Leadership BMT already.

  i dunno how true this is, but early enlistees are less likely to get a combat vaocation after BMT.
  
  At least i saw this pattern when i was in NS, they end up with very "lobo" vocations like "generator operator assistant", etc.

  only difference between early enlistee and normal enlistee is that you'll have to climb up to the 5th storey.
