  Nah, passed during BMT, but I didn't get markmanship.
  
  In my case, with both eyes open, I would see a shadow image just to the right and slightly lower than the target. Aiming at that shadow image, I hit the target every time (well, almost every time). IIRC, it took me a couple of months to think things through, try out different things and finally get it right.
