How to Join Police during NSF?

  Hi guys, I'm yearning to join the police force for my National Service.
  I'm still currently under deferment for my tertiary studies until the end of this year. But i would wanna apply for it 1st~
  Can anyone here teach how how?
  I'm thinking of writing in but i'm not sure how to write the letter...
  This is how i'm planning to write, can you guys amend it or teach me how?
  
  Here is bascially how i'm writing now:
  
  *My Address*
  
  *Date*
  
  *Officer Name*
  *CMPB Address*
  
  Dear *Sir/Madam*,
  
  RE: Request for Police Force (How to write this??)
  
  I am a Singaporean of Name XXX, NRIC XXXX.
  (Then this part i dunno liao~ Can tell me what are the things i need to write?)
  
  Here's my personal Documents:
  1)Copy of IC
  2)Copy of O lvl cert
  3)Copy of Cert of Merit
  4)Copy of CCA Cert
  5)Medical Reports
  6)School Letter Stating my Start-End of Course date
  7)CMPB Letter approval for my deferment
  ... (What else is needed?)
  
  Have not completed my Education, therefore i dun hav my cert yet. I will send a copy to you once i have my cert.

  Hey bro,thats quite an informal way of making known your request.there is a much more convenient and easier way.Have you undergone ur medical check-up at CMPB.Have u been accorded a PES Status.A PES status is given after ur medical check up.After ur medical check up,you be given some leeway in time,before ur enlistment letter pops in.During this period,it is advisable to go to the Police Force Website,and click on Police Officer,and quick apply,it is advisable that u must be at least PES A or B,medically fit,minimum height of 1.62m,quite good eyesight,have a clean background.Are u mentally prepared for it?,Thats a sure way of signing on.but before all this,other than being posted by luck for Police NSF cus there r openings for all units,be it the army,navy or any other forces,our defence force is a conscript one.Loyalty to Country,Leadership,Discipline,Professionalism,Fighting Spirit,Ethics,Care for our Soldiers..and perhaps Safety and Team Excellence if you are in the Air Force.Be proud that u take on a role to serve the nation.Police,u probably report to PA,other than that,Mono intakes or others u report to CMPB or Hendon Camp,other than that the Army,u will report to Tekong,others U report to SCDF HQ or SOTC for other units.The Police has a BMT phase of around 5 months also.Do take in consideration.Try to take IPPT and get Silver or Gold in your tertiary institution

  yes i have 2 cousins serving NS..and i can see a big difference in the lives of them both..

  Hmm... how long do your cousin has to serve his NS for the police force? 2 yrs or 5 yrs?

  Dude, unless u sign on, it will always be the other way around=they choose for u not u choose urself.
  
  Use logic think abit, if whole lot of singaporeans do wat u are doing then CMPB can go eat air liao.

  u do not know nuts abt how national service works right?? even the singapore police force do not have any say who goes where.... u think SPF will review your letter and pick you??... you are not customers here.... so no such thing as customers service officers...wat does he thinks SPF is.... SPRINGFIELD???

  well. i believe it is worth a try. at least he would have tried. if he did nothing, the outcome would be as though he failed in his attempt, so why not try?
  
  i can imagine how to argue in the letter. but i think what is equally important is who the letter goes to.
