  they have implemented iDMS, and waiver of $50 fee needs to be recommended by S1/CC and approved by CO on the intranet.

  that's new.
  
  last year.. it is just OC/S1 approval for Enlistees and Specialists.

  hmm i am not sure if this still apply or will apply to you.I lost my 11B only after i had ORD and what i did was make a replacement at CMPB,replacement cost was only $20.(Thou this was like 7-8 years ago)
