  Hi guys, need help here. Can anyone tell me whats the power of the sharpshooter scope we use for the M16S1?Thanks!

  Eh, correct me if i'm wrong. The 2nd LAW, aka, Section designated marksman, uses the x3 scope.

  the range same marks to pass but much higher for marksmen

  It just a role within a section....No need much training as much as sniper.....Got what i mean?

  With the effective range of the M16 relatively short versus a sniper rifle, and a decent powered scope that hopefully is still zero'ed, don't think you really need all that much training to hit the target.
  
  You would have to be a really bad shot to miss consistently. In which case, your unit commander would have to be an idiot to assign you as a section marksman.

  So basically, the M16S1 with a section designated marksman scope, is basically the same like the others. and is able to fire fully automatic as well?

  Yeap, its essentially the same M-16S1 rifle. But i dunno of any one who fires in automatic with a scope....

  yes... it is a m16 with a scope screwed on to it....

  i remember it being a 1.5x.
  not much different from the sar21.
  
  i could be wrong though, my only involvement with it was checking whether the dials were loose.

  I could have sworn it was 1.5x.. But so many years cannot rem already.
  
  Nothing special as 'marksmen'. Seems like LAW2 always kenna additional role. In Armor, LAW2 is 2ndary driver.

  my friend who was a law gunner/sect sharpshooter told me that the magnification is x4.... sar 21's is x1.5, and sar 21 sharpshooter is x3.5.....

  its 4times. sar 21 is 1.5 times. sar 21 with the new better scope for the marksmen is 3 times.
