as in signing of the bond and get posted to police post as a police officer? -
why go through so many circles?
why not just sign on before enlistment and they will send u for Police BMT (whatever it's called). -

There is already a scheme whereby selected BMT Leadership batch recruits are selected to become NS Police Inspectors. However, very few are chosen from each cohort. Since there is already a route for recruits to enter the Police force, there is no reason why somebody who signs on full-time with the SPF can't go over after BMT as well.Originally posted by yuko-ogura:but the thing is i'm alrdy in BMTC school le.

it's only the second week of my 2mth BMT.
im juz worried that the process would take up to a month..
also,how is the selection of the police inspectors being done?

hmm u have the opposite situation of mine...i tried to change my designated unit (Police Academy) by tryin to sign on but it was to no avail. I was told that it was possible fer any1 to sign on as a Police Officer or as an SAF regular (Officer/Specs)during their BMT or BPT(Basic Police Training) provided they make it known to their upper management that they r intending on a career wif the respective oraganisation of choice.Originally posted by yuko-ogura:...join as a police officer after my 2 mths of BMT?

but i signed the contract for SAF one.the one for which i have to serve 1 yr and 10 mths for SAF...
it was given during the first week of my BMT..
