Usually malays are posted to police. Those father mother not singaporeans one also have a higher chance of posted to police.
Police can earn more. Responsibility higher. Can be inspector also, the equilvalent of OCS.
Considering so many sergeants and officers get shlt vocation, being a police is good if you dont want to sign on. -

I mean you just use logic think abit, if every able male in Singapore don't want army want go police or don't want police want go army , suka suka wants his only own preference then CMPB does not need to exist anymore. once you are required to report to police for NS...
chances are VERY slim to go back to Army unless you know inside ppl.
Because if you are posted to police, it means Mindef already "gave you up" to MHA.
This is part of the MHA-Mindef Agreement on seconding quotas. -

it is a very different from army and you get to learn different things
whether slack or not is really up to you
