SAR21 not meant for left-handers????

  Have u all ever wondered y SAR21 is not meant for left handers??? I have no problem shooting M16 with my right hand, left hand also no problem cuz got deflecter to deflect the thingy... As a left hander,i gotta to adept to using right hand,very troublesome lor !!!!!

  Thought there is a left-hander operator version of SAR21? Me saw the left-hander version during the AOS...

  The SAR21 is designed such that in the event of a chamber explosion, the impact is mostly directed towards the right-hand side of the weapon, so for safety reasons the weapon has to be fired right-handed.

  SAR21 is more suitable for right handlers as they don't have a deflector for it yet.

  i dont think they can create a deflector for it...the ejection port is at the cheek

  the notch infront of the sar 21 is actually a deflector notice the rounds move forward, the main things is the kevlar protecting ur face

  It's harder to clean, IMHO. There are more parts, with more nooks and crevices for the carbon to lodge itself in. The gas regulator is a nightmare; you can never seem to get all the carbon out despite all efforts.

  I left hander and i use right hand to squeeze trigger. Its not really that tough just that when you squeeze trigger will be a bit lag. Btw i only bmt so only tried to fire ancient m16 haha.

  better still.. all left hander are exempted from NS in future..... rumour has it that left hander are smarter... so they can continue their study and contribute to sg GDP

  it is a design flaw. I think it was justified on the basis that it is not difficult to train soldiers to shoot from their right shoulder. After all, the large majority of soldier have never handled a rifle extensively before, so most soldiers will start from a clean slate.
  
  The kevlar plate is imo a marketing gimmick to assuade fears and to aid in marketing. I dun recall other bullpups like the SA80 having a kevlar plate.

  there is another 'butt' for the SAR21 that enables it to eject spent cartridges from the left.
