Of course Singapore has missiles... SAMs, AAMs, ASMs..
The one being shown is the Bloodhound SAM. Retired quite a few years back now. -
i have seen the SAF transporting missiles in the middle of the night.

I heard the bloodhound has a combat radius of 100km isit? Maybe we can convert the SAM into land attack missiles.
Then it will bcome a true silver bullet. -

The bloodhounds were outdated by the time we recieved them and from what I heard, majority of them weren't even functional!

Correct me if i am wrong, i think these are the missiles that were bought to "foster relations" than anything else.
Anyway, SAF's missiles are sensitive issues. Public seldome see them and not much info are told on where these things are situated.
Maintanence of these equipment are usually carried out on Sundays. -

Bloodhound is phased out alr yes?
Aiya, the SAM still can be fired towards a land target and hopefully, some of the debris will land on it. Who knows, some high ranking enemy officer might get hit by it? -

Bloodhound MK2 has a 140km range wow it damn old liao u say u saw SAF moving misslies at night me 2 but lets not make any comments on wat we think we saw

the missle is even bigger 3 times than a normal fighter jet.

A air to air missile is not effective in surface role. When isreal turn the tide on egypt and send M113s and tanks to go after the SAM sites, the SAM sites try to shoot them with SAM, it did not work, not able to do that damage even to M113 .Originally posted by Shotgun:Bloodhound is phased out alr yes?

The purpose of the missile may not be actually shooting down the aircraft itself. But to make it break formation and burn fuel. -
