  nah, he was just a normal dude, 2SG...and the warrant officer happened to be his RSM, the current one of 2 SIR.

  I had a section mate during my BMT a long time ago. This guy would cry anywhere/anytime - like a baby. Cannot do pullups - cry, scolded by anyone - cry, call on the phone to speak to parents - cry, etc, etc. He didn't make past BMT, and I last saw him as a mess boy before being posted out.
  
  Anyway - today he is one of the local TV actors (and I will not describe any further). Guess his acting skills are indeed good.

  Hmm.. had a section mate who would quarrel with gf almost every night. 10pm to 12am non stop. Quarrel, cry, blahblah... once my PC came up to talk to him.

  But I got event I will never forget. I was involved in my unit's mono intake and was in charge of checking recruits' IC against their papers to confirm. There was this Indian boy carrying a haversack. I asked him for his IC and papers. Guess what? He called for his mother, who was filtered to a different area, and his mom opened his bag while he stood there day dreaming while she searched for his wallet and letter, and then passed to him.
  
  A couple of me buddies saw this too and we were so amused. Man, talk about dependence on his mom. Quite incredible.
