What do you think of the new load bearing vests?

  Thoughts people?
  
  Except for the more trapped heat, I kinda like it.
  
  Everyone was complaing about the previous SBO trapping more heat versus the old belt style SBO, but people adapted to it.

  no water bottle pouches. water bottles are more useful as compared to the water bag.

  hmm ...i always been very curious to find out whats the tie down if the water bag is broken then no water liow ...
  
  i still prefer water bottles ..as well ...are there chances reservists ppl re going to get the new LBVs ?

  Yes, with water bottles we can pour it on someone suffering from heat injuries but this cannot be done with the water bag. When without any ammo, full water bottles can come in handy as a hand thrown weapon too!

  Don't think all the active people have been issued with it yet. So for us reservists....
  
  Of course, someone in the forums did mention earlier that you can go buy it at Beach Road.

  once they turn ops they'll be issued...almost all the SIR units are issued already

  most combat units will get it. Support units will continue using the SBO.

  saw some units using the LBVs quite awsome looking but we their getting down the bus 1 of them fell protect by the knee and elbow guard

  My new reservist unit just turned operation not that long ago... still haven't issued.
