It's my first time taking part in such an event...
just want to ask.. any place to put belongings? Lockers and stuff?

i feel like going since i missed it last year. but it's ridiculous that the run starts so early at 5+ in the morning. there's no public transport this early.

hopefully this year they have more options for signing up. last year can only sign up at SAFRA. but there's no SAFRA club in the west where i live.

just now i go safra ask for application forms.
wah pai seh sia... haben open yet. only end june. now can onli apply online.

if the system remains the same as last year. u can register online or go to any SAFRA cubs. even if u register online, u still got to go down to SAFRA HQ to collect your number tag etc.Originally posted by f50_vapor:see the website liao.

in the standard chartered marathon, got bus transport. even though $3/$5.

Hi all, what can be considered a standard good time for 10 km?

1 click 6 mins is quite comfortable...... so 10 X 6= 1 hr...

For those going to AHM, unless u have a car, do not bring much valuables at all. Go with maybe $20 notes, ziplocked together with a key or ez-link wadever in ur pocket.
During one of the AHM, i left my wallet in my bag together with the rest of my unit. By the time i finished my run, it was stolen. -
i already prepare to smoke out in the middle of the run...

though of staying at a nearby budget hotel...so can have better rest...

What's with the New route?
Too many people cheated in the previous runs?
If you notice the public will always complain about SAF after the runs.
Typical complains are,
1) Walking as soon as flag off.
2) Running short cuts
3) Profanities and expletives used during runs.
4) distubring "chio bus"
5) Throwing water at each other for fun....
etc etc..
SAF should forget about "forcing" soldiers to run AHM and let them do it voluntarily instead.... everytime force the NSF end up embarrasssing themselves.
FYI, i got camp duty for both my AHM during my NSF.. how lucky is that?
