guys, can u name me 10 things u like and 10 things u dislike abt being in the army as a nsf? my fren needs to do a survey for a statistics module. hope to help my fren.

1.growth in strength and stamina.....
2. learned how to be very vicious in this world.......as essentailly the survival of the fittest
3.free food.....
4.discounts.....
5.guns and bullets....
dislikes...
1. people or rank manipulation......
2.rude.....crude and boorish.
3. no pets
4. too rigid in some of the laws and principles......get DB if do something wrong....very risky.....
5 too much investment to INGRATE countries like australia.
6.toilets smelly and shitty sometimes......obviously inconsiderate people.
overall i prefer civilian life compare to the army one..........but however for the sake of this small little dot....i think i won't mind holding guns and bullets...... -
10 Good Things:
1. Get to shoot GPMG like no one's business till rounds ran out
2. Get to know more friends from everywhere
3. Get to throw grenades like throwing stones
4. Get to travel to other countries for trainings and R&Rs
5. Get to see pretty nurses and chat with them
6. Get to keng from training due to medical appointments
7. Get to lunch-out with my S3 and S1 for more than 2 hours
8. Get to see female trainees changing in their bunks
9. Get to have compensation of $10k from MINDEF due to accident
10. Get to post to Maju Camp and relax through my term
10 Bad Things:
1. Got shot in the leg and hospitalised for 6 months
2. Clean rifle after range practices
3. Make the bed and standby-bed
4. Food from the cookhouse
5. Never get to clear finish all my paperwork
6. Butt parties for ranges
7. Fatigue parties and cookhouse duties
8. Wake up early
9. Missing and stolen uniforms
10. Missed your civilian lives for at least two years -

It was a live-firing exercise and we are doing a flanking movement with surpassing fire support with SAW. My buddy didn't switch his rifle to safe when recovering from prone position and me was in front of him. He accidentally squeezed off one 5.56 cal round and the line of fire was directly in my favour and it hit my knee. i'll like to clarify that my dislikes portion applies to only some people which i have came across during my active days. overall i still enjoyed my days in green. -
