  A pretty low profile terrorist incident in Singapore. Never knew something like that happened at all! Pretty interesting. Why the soft approach?

  Like what Obersturmfuhrer mentioned, we didn't have a credible CT force then. 1970s is the period the CT force was taking shape in the rest of the world after a spate of hijack incidents.

  If i am not wrong, that was the incident that led to the formation of SOF.
