How come they can never ever be admitted into certain vocation even if they are as competent as their Indian and Chinese counterparts.Please tell the truth and not shield reality.

I think this issue was covered quite some time ago by LKY. Why bringing it up again?
Anyway, the local malays have close ties with Malaysia and Indonesia. Both of which are posing a 'friendly threat' to Singapore. Needless to say, if u have family in Malaysia or Indonesia....Would you still want to fight and kill them? Thats wat worry LKY the most i suppose. -

there IS a malay cookhouse in hendon FYI ...
it's not like there are no Malay soldiers in the SAF ... be mindful of the implications of what you say guys ... I'm not talking about knocks on your doors at 2am ... but the wider societal implications .... -

FYI - I had a chinese regular fren who sign on in Armour.. then he married a malay girl and converted himself to muslim. After changing his faith, he has to change his vocation and unit..
That is how serious SAF looks at the issue... -

and yes monoslayer, there ARE malay boys in the commandos, though their numbers are not great ... but let's keep it at that and not say any more about that shall we ? ... -
