there IS a malay cookhouse in hendon FYI ...
it's not like there are no Malay soldiers in the SAF ... be mindful of the implications of what you say guys ... I'm not talking about knocks on your doors at 2am ... but the wider societal implications ....
there r malay commandos? perharps i was wrong but i certainly havent seen one yet..Originally posted by goaler:there are malay commandos, guards...
but, there wont be malay in highly sensitive and explosive units.. eg: armour and artillery.. this is a FACT..
oh yes, this is a fact, I'm not disputing that, but I'm asking the bros here to exercise some restraint and thoughts when posting about such things, not asking to hide things underneath the carpet ... it IS a highly sensitive and emotional issue for everyone, one which I hope people would understand and see in the right perspective, and a situation that i hope one day will change ...Originally posted by goaler:there are malay commandos, guards...

FYI - I had a chinese regular fren who sign on in Armour.. then he married a malay girl and converted himself to muslim. After changing his faith, he has to change his vocation and unit..
That is how serious SAF looks at the issue...
He's a MAJ now at CAB...Piloting the KC...search for him...Originally posted by dcx:I've yet seen a malay pilot...but i think there're some in fixed wings...
