Many of us have fond memories of our friends while in school, be it kindergarten,primary,secondary etc...etc...etc. One year the whole school population (chinese,malays,indians,eurasians,sikhs etc...etc) were singing the anthem and pledge together...the next year upon enlistment....some races are more trusted than the other. i dunno if what i said was right.....but imagine....your in a country like singapore........and lets say singapore's predominant race is caucasians..............but the minority are spanish.....greek........malay.....chinese and whatever.......and the surrounding neighbours are spanish....greek.....malay .....chinese and whatever races..........would you trust them 100% to any TOP secret information????? if you were in their shoes....would you put trust in the spanish ......greek.......malay....chinese people to take up top posts??????
in any case we must always remember that during WW2..........we had alot of english troops......americans........british..........australians..........of course with indians.....malays.....chiense people.............when a country is overrun with JAPS...........the british would think about their own people first........so natural instincts tells us that we can't trust another race 100%........who knows what scheming things people can think of at times of peril.........
another example.....lets say...........between you and another person.......not about race..........you have in a desert found some food......would you grab the food first and live to see the next day or would you "generously" let your opponent go first and you die and rot????? i think many people will choose the path of greed.....survival of the fittest........ -

Come on guy....dont say it too harsh...why not lets put it this way...When in times of war everyone regardless of race will want to save their families in Singapore....I am sure that everyone in army have a clear thoughts that what are going to happen when in times of war.....Just like I say everyone plays a vital role in the war, from clerks to cdo or anyone else.......In SAF we are just like a big big big family regardless of unit or vocation.......
