Yes, without the MO referral, you pay yourself.

You can get a referral through a polyclinic or govt hospital a&e doctor too to qualify for subsidised rates.

You can just go to a specialist..However if you show ur 11B on the 1st visit, you do not pay at all upfront, but yuor allowance will be deducted a one off ~$70 in the coming month(s)
For subsequent visits, all will be paid for by SAF when u produce ur 11B..
However do note that you will be considered an A class non-subsidised patient..so when u ORD le, still go see the specialist, you will be paying the premium rates..
It's still good to get a referral letter from MO or polyclinic doctor.. -

2 ways (1) either get a referral through your Camp MO or polyclinic. (2) go to the specific hospital's a&e and complain of your problem.
