Just imagine you need >4 days to climb up Mt. Biang....(Oh Biang!!!)
and another 2 days to climb down... -
Depends on which camp you are posted to...Makes a whole world of difference!! I was from Jalan Aman Camp in Brunei. Thinks its easily the best overseas camp i was posted to...Air con bunks with water heaters in showers...Everyday slack and wait for meals...How's that? Not to include oversaes allowance....Ha
The other camp (i 4get the name liao) is all about cheonging lor...The bunk is pathetic and there are totally no recreation nearby, so even got book out, also no where to go...haha...So depends which camp you are posted to... -
the other SAF camp there is Lakiun Camp at temburong. JCC prep training.

Otherwise, its pretty alright. -
You can amuse yourself by painting the cicadas in different colours, bring a few good books, cut your hair really short just before you go bring mp3 player if you can manage it... other than that, there is nothing to do.

lakiun camp is fuk up... bunk small n hot...toilet big but low water pressure... super hot in the day... ex buaya was super shiong, legs always wet... keep raining... most important bring lots of soild fuel to mt biang, u need it trust me... maggie me was a heavenly food.... no mozzie... lots of sand files...

that one is the pre-exercise....like Coy exercise...later there's the battalion exercise...where its full 6 days....
i remember clearly, the battalion river crossing is on the afternoon of the 3rd day....and half battalion cross half way..the instructors will say "contacted"....and must attack liao... -
it going to be memorable that's for sure. be it good or bad.

Cousin's house just 3 min drive next estate. I went to the prata place outside the camp two years back, saw a PTE doing sentry duty at the gate. -

Lakiun Camp got this big rock with a yellow ribbon on it. Besides it is a small altar.That time I was there,I saw the CO and a few other crabs making offerings there...Anyone knows the spooky story behind it?
