This is a serious case n it can land u in a Military Police investigation.Originally posted by Stooky:Ever got bunkmate played a trick on u or someone else by removing the firing pin or some other parts or from ur rifle when u r not looking or not around?
what happened in the end?
Chamber explosion was due to missing CAM PIN not firing pin. With missing cam pin, the firing pin can still strike the cartridge and cause it to fire. Problem is that because the firing pin was so loose since no cam pin to hold it in place, chamber explosion resulted after a few rounds. The cam pin was found after a search was conducted for investigation.Originally posted by Prince_Valiant:i heard got case of chamber explosion of SAR21 (dunno which unit) the rifle was missing a firing pin.. the shooter din get much injuries(maybe because of kevlar plate) but the person of his left took the brunt of the explosion. The case was caused by a 2LT not 2SG. The PS was charged for not acting when he saw his PC fooling around with blind.Originally posted by Prince_Valiant:its was an explosion from a blind LAW which killed a private and hurt 2 more soldiers(i think). dont think its appropriate for me to write it here since it was so long ago, but you can read about in in the intranet in the military legal case studies. its the one involving a 2SG( wont say name here) and it was 1999...
I think's a new NSF.Originally posted by saline:threadstarter is a pre enlistee? if so, don't even think of doing such things.
anything that involves, weapons, explosives or even vehicles, should be taken seriously.
Obviously sound like a regular "victim" here. Never learn lesson to sayang your wife lor so other ppl take some parts away lor.Originally posted by kopikid:officers r dam crap 1 la act sud take ur firing pin keep it in his pocket then he will watch u find and then keep laughing smiling until u go tell him ur firing pin is missing
he will scare u with extra DBs etc kan cb 1
so if u ever lost ur firing pin or anything related to stuffs that will charged u to DB just relax la u wont lose it some ppl purposely take away 1
unless ur really that careless...thats why do everything must check esp. when ur officer ask u for ur bolt or ur rifle remember to check the whole thing after he return it to u
