Military Police after SISPEC.... BEST!!!
If i am not wrong, if you go direct.. you max out at CPL.
Go Sispec BSLC then MP... then max out at 2SG. -

but during BMT time... MP will select a few ppl for the interview to go to MP.
these ppl who are interviewed to go MP, WILL go MP if they are not selected to go Leadership schools.
but it doesn't mean if you are selected for MP interview you are automatically posted to MP after your BSLC.
BSLC is a 10 week course btw. -

Basically I been through BSLC and then posted to become Military Policeman....
SISPEC is where you trained to become Infantry Section commanders, so you will do all the field training like navigation, fire movement... Almost everyday is at field training....
MP is where you are trained as Law enforcers. You will go through high discipline training and very siong PT.... MP unit also covers the Silent Precision Drill Squad (SPDS) and Ceremonial Guards....
Both places are equally siong but in their own ways... See the MP motto you will know le... hahaha -
MP more shiok lah. People ask what you do, even after ORD and find job, say you MP happening.
MP also can find fault with officers even you're a coporal. So what do you think? -

Minimum criteria: IPPT Silver
... or else must stay back go RT...
During MP training in MIlitary Police training institute, your PT will be very siong.... Interval training, 4.8km run, 6km run, circuit training... Confirmed can get SIlver or Gold.... Before lunch do chin-up, 3 sets of 12.... or 1 set 12, 1 set 10.... POP that day can do 15 liao...
When you pass out, you can continue to train during the UNIT LIFE ACTIVITY, includes games, 2.4 / 4.8 run.... every mon, wed, fri... confirm can maintain GOLD easily....
If you fail IPPT, you will go for UFP, Unit fitness Programme, whack you until you get PASS....
So 90% of the MPs have silver or gold -

Hey guys... just a doubt... it is a requirement for one to attend the interview (Eg. MP, Recce) in order to stand a chance to get posted there?? Eh, u mean only during NS 2 yr period? Then probably you won't see higher than 2SG.
If you mean NS reservist liability then probably all the way to master, but usually staff is max. Of course if you are talking about officer, then totally different. -
A NSF MP highest rank is 3SG...
Up to date no NSF hold a 2SG rank...
Maybe its because it is Combat Service Support Class, which differs from Combat class like Infantry and Guards... -

I got an MP interview slated next wed. I heard from my MP friend MP can stay out everyday one. But now i learn how crazy their training is... start to have 2nd thoughts. Cos my IPPT still have some problems passing. -

No Not really... Depends on the company u r in.
Operational companies like mowbray station and detention barracks work 24/7.. which means you have to mount, dismount, standby for 24 hrs 7 days a week.. non-operational like dog wing, apc, school then stay out is a norm... but times to stay overnight will be xiong also...
After all MP is one of the best vocations out there.... Not everyone will get in and pass out as a MP...
So you have the chance better cherish it.... -
