Some of my campmates who ORDed after me called up the Malay driver (to rub salt into the wound) while he was in the SAF psychiatrist ward. This was how the conversation went :
My friends: Hello is this XXX ? We are calling from mowbray camp and we are conducting a survey for ex-convicts about the detention barrack so we can improve the services here. Please answer the following questions :
How do you find the quality of the food during your stay in DB ?
A) Excellent
B) Satisfactory
C) Poor
How do you find the services provided by the military police during your stay?
A) Excellent
B) Satisfactory
C) Poor
At this point, the malay driver became somewhat hysterical and was actually shrieking at my friends.
My campmates later related this to me when we met up for a meal.
Bunch of clowns. -

If so, you sure spoil their image, many cdos are like childish boys with an oversized ego, but the good ones are very professional, unassuming and can kick butt. You obviously need to gain more exposure because there are mly cdos around. -

But therein lies the problem. He is very ... enthusiastic about army badges, merits, glory and people looking up to him and being under him. But he hates SAF and management to the core. He believes that the system is corrupted and that he alone is the savior to change it.
Following the 7 core values (created by the SAF) will be the last thing on his mind.
