Difference between an MP5 and an MP7

  Hey, can anyone tell me the difference between an MP5 and an MP7?

  Whoa, hey there. Brass-jacketed all-steel projectiles? May not have as much stopping power as 9mm parabellum, but damn if that ain't gonna cause some mayhem.

  If my figures are right, the MP7 uses 4.7mm calibre ammunition while the MP5 uses the 9mm. Infact just to excite you abit, theres even an MP5/10 which is essentially an MP5 chambered in 10mm.

  I'd prefer this one to a normal 9mm MP5

  the mp5/10s is a very SOF kinda weapon. Lots of stopping power. If u absolutely need to stop a guy dead in his tracks, thats the weapon to go.

  Well, would prefer the P90 over the MP7 though its larger. However if given the choice to choose between MP5 and MP7, will definitely go for the MP5 due to its ammo being more available. The 4.7mm is not readily available as compared to the 9mm
