Last qn...the certificate of service conduct rankings are arbitrary or got guidelines...like never go DB sure at least good or v.good because i havnt go DB before but i not on good terms with my superiors coz i occassionally cut corners here and there...

My 2wo boss who is dy s3 gave me an excellent, which i have to write the justification myself. But for my unit, i heard that there is a quota on how many nsf can get excellent for cos, like maybe 1 in 30 or 50 ppl, dunno true anot.

Isn't it usual to write the testimonial yourself and then get your officer in charge to sign? Usually, they won't bother. Just write down with small embelishments, don't go overboard and concoct some amazing deeds. when i got my COS, i was rather disappointed. i was expecting it to be laminated in clear plastic. turns out only a piece of paper.

If a servcieman kena DB, it will not be reflected. I got a cleeauge kena sentenced to the DB for seventy days. I got outstanding/excellent for my grade. Yeah u got to write justification to S1 to submit to CPC. When my HOD decided to give me this grade, my S1 immediately write an email whether my HOD sure he wans or not cos the justification really has to be good to be sumitted to CPC or else its making a fool of himself nia. But my HOD says justified, justify lah. Although I was only a clerk, I was very proud of it. I consider it a mini-achievement in my life. Even though I ORD 6 years liao, when I go back to visit my Head Of Dept, he will still tell the clerks there that I was the best clerk he ever had....
