  If you have to ask for SOP on ammo management on sgforums.com, then to be frank, something is seriously, seriously wrong.
  
  I suppose the best idea is to simply brief that SPF officer on basic common sense rules like always having someone keeping an eye on any available ammunition.

  i agree. but what is the rank of the SPF officer in question? since the threadstarter is only a CLT, i doubt he will pay attention to his words. i will suggest he speak to his NCC superior to has a word with the SPF officer. afterall, all ammunition be it live or blank should be carefully looked after.

  seriously i think u should let ur superior know and not saying how npcc or police force blah blah.. after all i believe it makes no different by saying how/what this officer did..

  When I was referring to 'something wrong' I was referring to the fact that SOP on ammunition ought to be pretty clear to the SPF officer. So it doesn't make sense to have to come to sgforums to get the SOP and then having to brief him. So obviously there's a serious problem on the SPF side.
  
  Seriously, even if the SPF officer didn't know the exact SOP, then he should use his basic common sense like making sure the ammo and weapons are guarded at all times.

  yup even i think u are right, live/blank ammo and weapon should be guarded at all times

  As you have said feedback will not be from you, so why bother to raise this issue in thid forum. Let your SAF officer in-charge, who should be familar with SAF SOP, handle this. hmmmm

  And if you can, when not occupied, keep an eye on the ammo as well.
