at 1st i thought they are 3SG but when get closer look is PFC and dun think they are reservist -

the badge is for clerks. called manpower arms badge. the combat engineers one not bad looking. i like the guards and intelligence ones. the commandos one kns. so plain looking.

do they assign vocation batch based on ur organic unit you are under or the specialized training you received? -

Probably the new uniform is to differentiate them from NCC bah. Wah lau, sometimes see NCC people anyhow wear the uniform, then outside pple thought they from SAF, like a bit disgraceful lor

NCC are all toy soldiers anyway wat.
they add the badges to make ppl have a strong sense of identity to the formation/arms they are serving in. -
