Help!

  im going thru my vocational training after pop-ing from ns last month.But the thing is i might retake my A levels next year and my camp is 1hr+ journey from my home.i also hate my vocation.My friend said that i could appeal to mindef thru email and they might consider posting me to another camp.Is this true?thanks in advance..very vexed need help man.

  yes, you should update Mindef on this...and provide them with all the evidences/forms/etc....for validation...
  
  they have the authority to disrupt you for 3 months.
  
  And PLEASE DO THIS EARLY...not last min...cuz they have a tendency to take their time...and you wouldnt want any last min crop up right?

  no i dont wanna disrupt..i just want to be posted to a camp nearer to my home (as i will be retaking next year)..or perhaps a so called "slacker vocation" so i got more time.Is this possible with mindef?

  your chances of getting it is like finding a needle in the ocean floor.
  
  if they approved it, many others will also want to request to be posted to camps near to where they live.
  
  you can try but don't hold too high a expectation.

  i know but i really do not have any motivation to train anymore.Its not like i cant take it physically as my fitness is not a problem.How can one train if one's future is uncertain.i feel very depressed when thinking of booking in.Anyone knows how can i email them?like the email address or something?
  
  FYI my vocation is combat engineer..and my camp is 1 end away from my home.Sorry but i cant disclose which unit im in.

  if hes talking abt 36th SCE or 39th SCE, that'd be so poser.
  
  esp for 39, since they have proved to be a great display unit every now and then.
