please get into the army first before deciding if you wanna sign on.
like you, i was very garang about the army and wanted to sign on and all that kinda stuffs. after enlistment, i just wanna serve my 1yr 10mths and ord in peace.
this certain organisation is very different from how it wants the public to view it. and the ads you see are all bullshit.

You can still work in places such as MINDEF,Home Affairs,Foreign Affairs as a civilian.You can also be a police officer,a drug enforcement officer,civil defence officer.In fact,all govt agencies are open to you...Private sector is another story though...Originally posted by Ristar:electronics/computer engineering? there are lots of things to do. but if u take this defense studies degree, u can only sign on with the SAF.
Of course,you can also become a teacher teaching history and maybe English/General Paper.
