The only difference s in feu de joie is that it uses a normal suppressor.
Having no projectile all the air is pushed forward to exit at the muzzle.
With a projectile the air will be channelled back to push the bolt carrier group back and the spring pushes it forward to engage another cartridge. -
Just wondering...if the Feu De Jour is also known as the "Fire Of Joy", then what is the command given when its a state funeral with the Ceremonial Guards firing off? Can't be Feu De Jour right?As it won't be apppopriate won't it?

BTW I never encountered rnds which can't be fired. Thats a serious IA. only time i encountered an IA with a rnd is a 84mm rnd

He will go down into the history books I tell u. But seriously, even if the weapon IA, when u pull the charging handle again, the faulty round would be ejected alr. Of course, I'm sure they would identify the weak springed magazines and take them out for NDPs.
