That's the bolt, you remove that, you can't even cock a cartridge in. Nor can it eject a casing.Originally posted by Shotgun:wads that piece inside the bolt carrier. Look a bit like flower one... i suspect thats the piece thats removed.
pls dun flaunt your ignorance so explicitly. i laughed so hard i almost died.

A blank round is a blank round. The reason for the the GOH to having @#** their weapon after every round is due to the fact that the retaining pin within the bolt carrier group of the M16 has been removed.Hope i am right on this ..either this or the bolt cam pin is removed ..i can't remember which extact part of the rifle is removed.

I believe the command given for military/state funerals is "akan tembak tiga volley", followed by hormat, then tembak...Originally posted by SpecOps87:Just wondering...if the Feu De Jour is also known as the "Fire Of Joy", then what is the command given when its a state funeral with the Ceremonial Guards firing off? Can't be Feu De Jour right? As it won't be apppopriate won't it?

Oh trust me, there are many many many cases of IA. Half-feeding lah, Double-Feeding lahz...the best part is some of the rounds are like dud rounds. Can't be fired...Originally posted by stellazio:i wonder whether any GOH got kana IA during the FDJ..
Hmm ...IA is common with a weapon that is not cleaned. once u start cleaning your weapon inside out. its smooth as it gets with live rnds.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Oh trust me, there are many many many cases of IA. live is better. it makes the barrel sparkling clean.Originally posted by one-niner:Hmm ...IA is common with a weapon that is not cleaned. once u start cleaning your weapon inside out. its smooth as it gets with live rnds.
BTW I never encountered rnds which can't be fired. Thats a serious IA. only time i encountered an IA with a rnd is a 84mm rnd when i was safety officer. not the best situation to be in ..
imagine if got one blur soldier scream out loud in the middle of the parade, "IA! IA!" n proceed to execute the impromptu IA drills.Originally posted by stellazio:i wonder whether any GOH got kana IA during the FDJ..

Hell, the way we were practising it for the NDP, it was fire on an hourly basis, and only if they decided to cut out the less important parts of the parade.Originally posted by fonduelazone:it's spelled feu de joie, not feu de jour.
