  i heard there is a Orientation Programme In BMT ..what is it like?

  Oh very easy. The sarge will bring you around the camp. then play ice breaking games. then separate u guys into groups for fun filled group discussions.
  
  after all that... a buffet meals will be given.

  ??wad fun filled grp discussions? normal ice breaking games? Recruit handbook says orientation prog last 1 week

  Orientation here means.. getting to know ur superiors, how to fold ur uniform, how to arrange ur cupboard, know what and not to do all sorts of admin stuffs la.

  how decieving..
  first day parents go.. hire AC ferry and bus to ferry you around.. show u bunks on 2nd floor then bring you go to out-of-bounds canteen pr that kopitiam, then ask you go to canteen eat chicken drumstick chap chai peng. escort here and there
  
  then u hear something like "The ferries are ready for boarding. Please make your way tothe jetty to board the ferry to return to mainland"
  
  and theres no one to send the parents out, then the officers turn to the soldiers and "hrh hrh come come"

  I enlisted at 10am. Haircut at 6pm, got our finalised bunks at 9pm.
