Meals In Army When Serving BMT

be thankful that now u don't have to greet the chef when u collect your meal and do your own washing.

wow! what you have now is considerated wellfare to us.at least it is properly cooked,done by outsiders.
have you ever tried high protein extra toppings like cockroaches,grasshopper,etc.
anyway if the food is suddenly good, like drumstick or generous portion;it only means one thing:SOC is starting! -
you know ... I kind of miss cookhouses' meals ....
*braces for barrage of rotten bananas ...
no, seriously, it's filling, nutritious, balanced .... and Free ! ...
of course, i understand, eating it day in and day out sucks, but you know ... when you near ORD, you'll kind of miss them ... I went for every single meal when I was counting down to ORD ...

My cookhouse had above average food.
I actually missed the western set lunch, after all, where else could you get a decent salmon burger with fries for free? Or a whole 1/3 chicken with spaghetti.
Comparatively, we should be grateful for some of the dishes after all... -

the indian vegetarian buffet was quite alright actually. -
muslim food is always the best
but i love all the curry -

i have also tried jalan kuyu's , keat hong's...during my times, changi airbase's was the best I had tried. -
another thing I miss were the deserts ....
puloh hitam no horse run ... not as good as the combat ration ones, but close ...
